Ms. Nsame Nsemiwe from Zambia was the winner of the FIG Congress Prize 2006. The prize was given for her two papers provided to the competition.

At the opening ceremony the DVW Prize was given to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Schlemmer by Rolf Richter, President of the Rural Development Office Under Franconia.
