Abstract

The method of map production by using UAV photogrammetry is widely-used in World in recent years. With the developing technology, the capabilities of UAV platforms increase in parallel with the scale of projects, which are done by using UAVs, almost reaches to enough magnitude in order to compete with manned aircraft platforms. In the article, it has been discussed in observing, analyzing and reporting of cut and fill productions within the scope of 270km railway Project in Ethiopia. In the result of article, it has been evaluated that the maps required by large-scale construction projects can be produced by using UAVs within high accuracies and it has some advantages in time and cost.
